Explain Yourself! Using Pinterest to explain social media

In “From a Buzzword to a Basic” I argued that social media on its own (irony intended) does not a profit make: companies have to provide a value-add.  A corollary to this argument is that companies can use social media to add further value to their product.

I included a few examples in my earlier piece, but the list is so many and always growing that I made a Pinterest board here to show the trend.

Using social media to talk about social media might just be meta enough to work.
